We have over 50 years of experience between us in living history, historical presentations, working on TV and Film and writing about military history. We provide talks in the South East with curriculum based talks and workshops for Children and Adults.
MEET OUR TEAM
PHILIP HODGES
Philip's interest in WW1 began when he was 14 with a school field trip to Ypres in Belgium. He was both horrified and amazed at the sacrifices that had taken place in what is essentially one town. It instantly became a yearly pilgrimage for him.
Philip is also the editor of one the largest online military magazines, Military Historia, and has worked on and appeared in numerous multi period Historical films and TV documentaries. Philip is an experienced history presenter who enjoys delivering interactive sessions for both schools and colleges.
JASON HULOTT
Jason has been studying Medieval combat for over 20 years and also runs his own combat training workshops. His interests also include Roman, Early Medieval and Military history.
Jason is experienced at delivering workshops to both children and adults and current volunteers at a local museum cataloguing their edged weapons collection. He is also a Trustee at the Combined Military Services Museum in Maldon, Essex.
GEMILA BOSS
Gemila is a qualified Primary School Teacher and history enthusiast with years of experience as a Living Historian, delivering talks to the public and schools on the subjects of Medieval History and Life on the Home Front during The Great Wars.
She is particularly interested in the role of women during these periods and in daily life.
